New York to Rhode Island

Friday morning my husband, our friend Matt and I are going on an adventure! Something I never even thought about doing until this past winter. We are walking from New York to Rhode Island.

Crazy, I know! But, it’s super exciting. We’ve been training for months now. Long walks every weekend, working out a lot… I feel pretty great and super ready for this trip. I’m confident that we can do this :D More than anything though, I feel extremely proud of myself. I’m about to walk 130 pulse miles for a week. That’s many, many hours a day on our feet. But, I know I know I’ve got this.

Everyday we’ll start early in the morning and get to our destination with a good amount of time to relax and actually enjoy the town. And, let’s not forget about food! This will be easy in some towns and hard in others… But that’s part of the adventure.
So, I’ll be posting photos and documenting everything along the way!

First stop Friday will be Norwalk, CT.
