Make Your Own Trail Mix

    I don’t know about you, but if I buy trail mix (which isn’t often because it’s expensive for a small bag) there’s either never enough of what I love or more of something I don’t like. It’s also full of stuff that just sounds weird or the ingredients listed are things I’ve never heard of. Solution? Make your own! It’s cost efficient and you get more. Making your own mix is wonderful because you can add whatever you want and if you’re like me, you have jars around the house to put it all in. Here’s my favorite mix.

1 C cashews, halved
1/2 C pistachios
1 C almonds
1 C salted pumpkin seeds
1 C raisins
1 C cranberries

Other add ins I love:
1/2 C carob chips or dark chocolate chips
1/2 shredded coconut
1 C walnuts
