I decided that once a week I’ll make a new dish from my cook books! So far, so good 😊 These are just a few of them. I have a bit of a Barnes and Noble addiction…

Anyway, not only does this make me try something new but it helps inspire me. From them, I’ve used ingredients I haven’t tried before or made my own foods from scratch, like seitan!

It’s cheaper and way healthier for you to do things on your own. Cuts back on food waste and on plastic waste. Buying bulk VWG has saved a lot of money. Seitan at the store is expensive and this way I’m controlling our salt and sugar intake.

There are so many reasons to take some time out of your day to make something from scratch!
