I finally bought some Matcha powder and I’m in love

Matcha is full of antioxidants and vitamins, helps improve and maintain cholesterol, good for your immune system and is a great energy boost without the jittery feeling from a cup of coffee. Don’t get me wrong, anyone who knows me knows that I’m a coffee snob, but I have cut back to one cup a day. Yes, ONE single cup of coffee a day. There are exceptions, but if I need a pick me up I’m finding other ways to help with that. Like, green tea lattes!

There are many more amazing things about Matcha. It’s a like a little cup of yummy health.

Coconut Matcha Latte
1/3 C unsweetened coconut milk
1/4 C water
1 t light agave syrup (or more for a sweeter drink)
1 t Matcha powder

Bring the water and coconut milk to a simmer. Add in agave and stir. Put the matcha into a mug and whisk in the milk.
