Chipotle Fudge Truffles

Chipotle Fudge Truffles

These adorable little chocolate truffles are so good! My husband loves them. They’re sweet and spicy and the bits of chipotle peppers seem like little chocolate chips!

They’re easy to make too! Only hard part… waiting for them to be ready to eat.

Ingredients

1 Bag chocolate chips (I used Divvies!)
1 C condensed non dairy milk
1 Chipotle pepper + 2 t adobo sauce
1 t sea salt
Powdered sugar

Directions

In a small pot, melt chocolate and condensed milk together.

Add in a finely diced chipotle pepper.

Pour onto a parchment lined baking sheet and sprinkle with sea salt.

Let harden in the fridge for a couple hours.

Take a spoon and scoop about 1 1/2 to 2 tablespoons worth into your hand and roll into a ball.

Coat in powdered sugar and place back into the fridge for another hour or two.

Homemade condensed milk recipe

Ingredients

2 C culinary coconut milk
1 C sugar

Melt sugar in milk in small sauce pan on medium high heat. Once melted, reduce heat a little.

You need to constantly stir this mixture. You’ll notice how it thickens.

Continue reducing heat every half hour until it’s on a low simmer.

This whole process takes about 2 hours to cook, give or take.

Ultimately you will end up with one cup of condensed milk.

Let it cool to room temperature before using. It will continue to thicken as it cools.
